On the massive pay cut, if this contract is approved (find out in less than a week), new hire pay is around $9K a month and Delta pays for your uniforms and lodging during training. Thanks everyone. Each airline has quite different reserve policies. Short version of Delta reserve expect 12 to 13 scheduled off days. On call days you need to be able to report in 12 hours. This is absolutely false. Believe it or not, pilots at Delta have been spoiled by "moak-style" contracts. On time contracts are not the norm. The average airline labor group spends almost as much time in negotiations after the amendable date as they spent in the contract. What we have seen this cycle is normal. The last 20 years have not been.
